How can I get storyline to monitor if a user leaves the tab and trigger a pop-up screen with a message?
Hi, I have built an activity in Storyline that is currently running in the browser (html5).
In order to progress in the activity, the learner must leave the Storyline tab and move in between different tabs on the browser to find the necessary information.
Each time the learner returns to the activity from another tab, I want to display a layer of information.
How can I get my storyline app to monitor if a user leaves the tab and trigger a pop-up screen with a message?

Rather than sending learners off to different browser tabs, could you display the URLs in Storyline web objects?
Hi, thanks for your response.
As you can see in the attached file, I tried it earlier and got an error message.
Have no idea what I did wrong.
web objects are includes as iframes - most normal websites don't allow this to prevent Click-jacking
