Dear Articulate team, There is a bug in Rise regarding question bank translation. When create a xlif file for translation and import the respective translated xlif into their respective language file, it donot show the translation text. Could you please fix it ASAP or provide a way how to do this? Best regards, Siba

I'd be happy with the ability to export a question bank to an XLIFF file, import it after it's been translated into a new question bank, and manually link the question bank to the translated course.

Hello, I’m facing the exact same issue.I have perfectly translated a RISE module that contains a question bank using an XLIFF file.When I preview the module, the questions and answers from the bank are translated perfectly.However, if I want to edit a question, for some unknown reason, the questions and answers inside the bank are shown in the original language, not the language displayed when I preview the module.Where is my translated question bank and how can I edit it?I should mention that I took care to duplicate and set the question bank before launching the translation process.

Just ran into this. Because you have the question banks configured as a separate course asset, its not picked up by the course XLF. So its missed in course translation. To make matters worse, the question banks do not seem to have their own export/import function. That makes translation a tedious, labor intensive, and mistake prone activity cutting and pasting into every single field. You havent fixed this core function for three years?

My experience of this is that the XLF export includes the questions from the question bank. When the translation is complete, and the XLF is imported back, all the translations fall into place except for the question bank block. I had to create copies of the question bank in each language, then copy and paste from the translated XLF (using notepad++ and pretty print to help). I then swapped the banks in each Rise module for the translated version. If there is a better, more automated way of doing this, please share...

Hi Siba!

I'm so sorry about this. We're investigating this issue where questions drawn from banks are not included in the exported XLIFF translation file.

Our team is looking into a solution. We'll keep you posted and let you know as soon as question banks can be exported for translation.

  We also face with this problem. Our content mainly translated into several languages and we still can't just upload xlif file to translate whole lesson.
