Inserting .html file into Storyline 360

Hi there,

I saw some discussions on inserting local .html files into the slide using web Objects. My problem is when I try to open the folder that contains the .html it cannot be found.

  • that's normal, while importing a webobject only folders are visible

you have to select the correct folder

if in the folder is a "index.html" storyline should recognize the folder for web object

I also have the same problem. When I created my personal HTML file and tried to add using "Insert Web Object" and go to the folder where I saved it, I doesn't show there.

Hello VanJosephChua! You can insert a local HTML file into Storyline 360 using a web object, but there are a couple of key steps:

        1. Put your HTML file in its own folder.
        2. Make sure the file is named index.html. Storyline looks specifically for that filename.
        3. In Storyline, go to InsertWeb Object, then select the folder (not the file itself).
          1. From your reply, it sounds like you are trying to select the file instead of the folder.
        4. Choose whether it loads automatically or when clicked.

Hope that helps! Let me know how it goes.
