Issue with Localization and Text-to-Speech in Storyline
Hello everybody!
I used the Localization function in Storyline, but it didn't translate the text-to-speech audio. I’m not sure if I used the function correctly, but I thought it was supposed to translate them automatically.
I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you!

Hi Linkit,
Thanks for reaching out! I can see why you’d expect the text-to-speech audio to be translated as part of the Localization process.
If you’re using the Localization feature (including the trial), text-to-speech audio should be included, with translated audio generated for your target language. Since that didn’t happen in your case, it sounds like something may not have processed as expected.
Would you mind sharing a bit more about how you set up your course? For example, was the audio created using Storyline’s built-in text-to-speech feature before running Localization?
In the meantime, I’d recommend connecting with our support team so we can take a closer look at your file and help get things working as expected.
We’ll be happy to help!

Thanks for answering! Yes, the audio was created using Storyline’s built-in text-to-speech feature before running Localization. I translated from Spanish to English and Portuguese.
I also submitted a case to see if the support team can also help me.
Hi Linkit,
Great to see that Eric has been helping you!
It looks like my colleague Robert is handling your support case. I see that he replied to your email, sharing insight and a fixed copy of your .story file. If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to reconnect with Robert through your case.
