Issue with Pause/Resume Interaction in Storyline SCORM (First Click Issue)

Hello everyone,

I’m facing an issue while trying to implement a pause and resume functionality in a project in Articulate Storyline. On the first interaction, the video doesn’t pause with the first click, requiring the user to click twice for the pause to happen. After the first double-click, the interaction works correctly for subsequent clicks. 

It's a layer composed of images, text and audio.

Problem Description:

• When the user clicks to pause the video for the first time, they need to click twice for the pause to happen.
• After this initial double-click, the video resumes with one click and pauses with the next, working as expected for subsequent interactions.
• I put a transparent rectangle over the slide to use as the triggered object;
• The triggers are:
  • "Pause timeline on this layer when the user clicks Rctangle 3"
  • "Resume timeline on this layer when the user clicks Rectangle 3 if state of Rectangle 3 = Selected

I've tried to:

• Create a true/false variable for the first click, so the pause timeline would work properly;
• Insert a new object as last layer and not transparent to see if the problem persisted;

Can anyone help me solve these issue please?
