Large Storyline File - Breaking Into Units on an LMS
We have a large file that contains video which will be compressed but are concerned about file size. We are looking at possibly breaking it up into 3 units. The part that is throwing us for a loop is that we have several language branches that the learner would need to continue on with from one unit to the next. I'm not sure if there is a way to seamlessly pass a variable to the next unit without the learner having to select their language manually again in the second and third units.
Or is there a better way to manage the file size within one zip file that is uploaded to our LMS?
for the user there is no different if the course is one big part or three mid size parts
storyline is loading the slide with the included media files if you jump to the slide - not at the start of the course
there is no methode to pass a variable from one storyline course to another
how big is the your Scorm package now and what is the limit of the LMS?
Currently it is 169MB but it will become larger once the video files are embedded.
I'm unsure on what our actual limit is on the LMS, but more concerned about users having lag time due to the course and or videos loading.
