Layer flickers when mouse over (hover) since recently
Hi,
I'm working on a module where I have used hovering over an hotspot several times. When a user hovers over the hotspot, another layer will appear. And disappear when user hovers out. This worked perfectly untill recently. The module needed some updates, so I opened the Storyline file. But now the layers start to flicker like wild when a user hovers over an item.
Somebody else has this experience and hopefully knows how to fix it?

I'm sorry if this is slowing you down! We have an open issue that we are currently tracking for Storyline 360 update 3.57 where a trigger to show layer on hover causes the layer to flicker continuously.
I've added this conversation to our report, and we'll keep you updated on progress. In the meantime, I'd recommend installing the previous update:

Hello.. I'm sorry to inform you that several people on my team are experiencing the same issue on different computers. Opening a project that has been tested in the version with the update is opening pandora's box....

The workaround at this time that Becca shared above is to install the previous version.
We will share other updates with you here as well.
I also have the same issue where I hover over a hotspot to show a layer and the layer flickers. I will stay with the current version as I am not yet ready to publish. If it is not resolved by then I will install a previous version.

Today we released Storyline 360 Update 58, and it comes with several new features and fixes! Here's the item you'll want to know about:
- Fixed: Layers could flicker when hovering over an object.
All you need to do is update to the newest version by following these steps. If you run into trouble, we're just a click away!
