Lightbox vs. Slide Numbering
Hi people,
I'm new to SL. While creating a course, I found that the more I add content to the Glossary, the smaller the fonts were becoming. So, (as advised by members here) I created a "lightbox" slide right at the start of the course (& named it "Terminology", with a scrolling panel & properly sized text) and linked it to the Player. Then, when I launched the "Terminology" lightbox layer later in the course, the lightbox showed properly, but it displayed its own slide number on the underlying slide from which the lightbox was launched. It's not a showstopper, but my learners may think it's my mistake. So, is this a bug or am I making some mistake? Please advise. Thanks. 😇

Your lightbox slide is showing the [slide number] of [project total slides] text that is on the Master slide.
You'll have to create a new Master layout without that info for your Glossary slide. Or just cover it up by extending the Title and filling it with the same color.
By default, the Glossary is included in the total number of slides in the course. You can change that.
On the INSERT ribbon, open the Slide Number dropdown, and select Exclude slides.
That opens the Exclude Slides window. Deselect the Glossary slide (and any other slide you don't want included in the count).
By the way, you could put the Glossary slide in its own scene, so it doesn't interfere with the slides in the main content.
