Limit user license

Hello, does anyone know how this is done? We have bought in packages that allow only a certain number of users (for instance you buy something that lets 200 people use a course and then you have to pay to renew for more). I am curious as to how this is done and how we could also acheive that. Thank you :)

  • So may first question is, are you using Articulate to post your courses on. If Yes, then you will need to contact your Articulate sales person or Articulate directly. Most of the time the LMS will regulate licensing. You will purchase licenses from them. You may need to contact them directly.

Thanks for the reply. No, we use another LMS. Companies supply a scorm, and somehow it's tracked when, for example, 200 users have done a course. I don't think in our case it is controlled by the LMS. Is there somehow a way to write this info into a  scorm?

  • Not sure which direction to send you. I don't think anything in Articulate would track users. I really think you should contact your LMS administrator or someone from that provider. I think they are the only ones that could do the tracking.

    Good luck
