Mannually Modifying Tin Can Activity ID
Hello All,
I’m exporting a training in Tin Can format and it seems that Cornerstone is refusing to process the uploaded file as the activity ID matches a previously uploaded version of the training "I know that I can modify the existing version, but there seems to be another problem with a path that I’m trying to understand"
But aside from that, is it possible to manually change the activity ID, as in to put an extra letter or number there?
you can change the Activity ID for xAPI (Tin Can)
Publish > LMS/LRS -> Reporting and Tracking Options > LMS > LMS Course Information > Activity ID
Jurgen, Thanks a lot for the assistance, I added just "V2" to the ID and It worked.
Just to confirm, in the future, is it possible to add my own customer ID "Like Customer_Service_V2" instead of the whole ID, or will it destroy the file
storyline generates ID which are always unique - no matter who or when they are generated
there is nothing against using "more readable" IDs - they only need to be unique in YOUR environment
example: "urn:articulate:storyline:Customer_Service_V2"
