Microlearning - Resume in LMS
We’ve uploaded a Rise microlearning into our LMS (Compass), and learners are not able to close the browser and resume where they left off. When they relaunch the module, it starts from the beginning.
Given that microlearning is typically short, I’m wondering:
- Is this normal/expected behavior for Rise microlearning when published to an LMS?
- Does resume/bookmarking depend on specific publishing or tracking settings in Rise?

How Rise resume works in a regular course, is that the learners will resume at the start of the last Lesson they were in during their last session.
As a Rise microlearning is essentially a Rise course with just one Lesson, the same rules apply.
So what you are experiencing is normal/expected behavior.
