Multi-Attempt Drag-and-Drop Scenario
Hey folks! I'm curious if anyone has a suggestion for a drag-and-drop that allows multiple attempts. I have one that works beautifully otherwise, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the "drag objects" to snap back to the starting position if they get it wrong on the first try.
It pops up with a nice "try again" layer and they click continue, but the "drag objects" just stay in the post-drop position.
I suppose they will figure out that they can just move them still but I'd love to figure this one out. It would be so cool if they all snapped back into place when the user clicked continue. Maybe some kind of Javascript API would help. Any tips, tricks, or ideas are welcome.
Thanks!
The "Try Again" option doesn't reset questions on its own. As you discovered, it simply lets the user re-answer a question, starting from their previous answer.
You can reset the drag objects with triggers on the "Try Again" button that move them on 0-point motion paths.

You're welcome! Pay it forward when you can. 😊
P.S. I'd appreciate it if you click the "Mark As Solution" button on my earlier reply (not this comment). Yes, selfishly, that ups the count of solutions on my Profile page. More importantly, it marks the issue as SOLVED, which might help others find the answer when they have a similar question.
