Multiple languages and branching
Hello!
I am new to Articulate Storyline 360 and to creating eLearning content.
I want to create an eLearning course with multiple languages, where the user can select their preferred language on the first slide. I am using branching, as shown in the image below, to create multiple stories—one story per language.
The problem is how to customize the menu so that it matches the selected language. Currently, the menu mixes multiple languages. For example, I can select both “Chapter 1” and “Kapitel 1” (Language 2), and I cannot find a way to apply criteria or conditions to the menu.
I have found more advanced approaches (on youtube) for handling multiple languages in Storyline, but I am wondering if there is a simpler solution to this problem.
Kind regards,

Be aware that Storyline only uses 1 designated language for the Text Labels (its system messages). For example, those include the Invalid Answer warning and the prompt about resuming. So even if the user branches to a scene with a specific language, they still might see messages in the language designated for Text Labels (Storyline 360: Customizing the Text Labels).
