Not really a storyline issue, but kinda. VoiceOver on Mac

I've been testing my SL360 courses, using NVDA screen reader on Windows for a while. Now I have access to a Mac and did some research to learn that most people use the built-in screen reader, VoiceOver. My problem is I can not get VoiceOver to read a single thing in any of my courses. All it keeps saying is "You are currently on an image" I've tried googling answers and every one of them has not resolved my issue.

NVDA has no problem reading text, or any alt-text. Can someone help me out?

  • Hi AaronBurgessAU,

Thanks for reaching out about this!

I'm curious to learn which browser you've tested this with. Does changing the browser make a difference? Is this occurring with multiple files or just one?

I've found these instructions on using VoiceOver on Mac, but be sure to check which version you're using. If following these steps doesn't resolve the issue, I'd like to connect you with one of our support engineers. It'd also be great to test a copy of your file if you're comfortable sharing it. Once we're done troubleshooting, we'll delete it from our systems!
