NVDA Reader Reads Title then stops. Must be prompted to read entire page
Attempting to create an accessible course. NVDA reader does not automatically read the page. NVDA will read the title (I believe from the menu), then stops. I need to press the Insert + Down key to prompt NVDA reader to read the page. I have seen some courses where the NVDA reader automatically reads through each page. I do not understand why my course does not. Every piece of text on the page is either H1 or Normal. Any ideas/help would be appreciated.
Here's the course:

I have attached the 7 slide story file.

Hi AdamSpindell it is not normal for an assistive technology user to prompt a screen reader to read a webpage from top to bottom.
There is likely to be a key combination that you need to select if you would like your screen reader to do that.
If you are concerned about the behaviour, I would not worry yourself, as it would not be an expectation. If users prefer their screen reader to read an entire page from top to bottom, they will likely configure their screen reader to do so.
Here's a list of some available shortcut keys for NVDA.
