Peek 360 Default Save Location
Is there any way to change the default save location for Peek recordings?
It defaults to "Documents" folder (%username%\Documents\Peek 360\) which is a network share in my workplace (and most corporate environments) and cannot be changed.
This is cause for concern as unencrypted video files of confidential information is being transmitted to remote servers in this particular case.
If only there were a way to change a basic setting like that. I don't understand why this is not configurable.
As it stands, Peek 360 save files to locations that are not always suitable and does not allow me to manage where data is saved and stored.
Any suggestions?

Hi Tom_S,
Thanks for reaching out!
Peek 360 doesn’t offer a way to change the default save location. Recordings are saved to the Documents folder by design, and there isn’t a built-in setting to redirect that path. I understand how that can feel limiting, particularly in corporate setups where that location may map to a network drive.
As a workaround, some users have had success with adjusting their system-level folder settings (for example, redirecting the Documents folder locally or moving files immediately after recording). That said, I recognize those options aren’t always ideal depending on organizational policies.
I also want to share transparently that Peek 360 is scheduled to reach end of support later this year, and we’re not making further updates to its functionality. If you’re working with sensitive content, it may be worth exploring alternative screen recording tools that give you more control over file storage locations and security settings.
