Poor image quality when uploading an image with Rise
- 6 years ago
Hi everyone!
Do you have an image that looks blurry in Rise 360? We've designed a workaround to keep your images looking crystal clear.
If you'd like an image to keep its specific file format and not undergo compression, you can opt-out of image optimization on a case-by-case basis. Add _NOPROCESS_ to the name of your image file. It'll upload and display exactly as you saved it. Keep in mind that the 5GB file size limit still applies, and you could see an increase in your output file size.
Hey guys,
Any improvement on image quality when uploading to Rise? Please see the screenshot which compares my jpg in photoshop and in Rise.
We cannot use this quality with clients :((((
If I export GIF the quality is better, but for JPG and PNG is poor.
Irina,
Could you please share an original images (JPEG and PNG) that you're uploading to Rise. I'm not too surprised that the quality is not great with JPEG, considering that there are text elements and JPEG isn't usually a good choice for these types of images. But if you're also trying a PNG we should be doing a much better job.
Thanks,
Mike

Dear Mike,
Here is another example I made today (Sep 12, 2017) : text looks blurred in uploaded PNG. Please advise how to overcome this rescaling hurdle. Many thanks!
