Publish to Review

Is anyone having issues publishing to review after the snapshot implementation? We were excited about the snapshots, but it seems that now any course that was published before snapshots existed cannot find its "match," which forces us to publish to review as a NEW course.

These are not new courses. We have over 1000 courses so scrolling the dropdown list is really not feasible. Any hints? Is this a bug?

Hi JoseTansengco  and Lauren, I am having the exact same issue.

We have suddenly just ran into the issue that when we try to "Publish a new version" it is defaulting to "Create a new item" every time - even when, like Lauren's content, an existing review 360 link is there and has been updated several times.

This has happened occasionally in the past, but we were always able to find the correct version of the course in the mahoosive drop list - but this time the correct versions are not there at all. We have all our review links shared between the team and I've checked the sharing settings are correct - both folder and course 'owners' and 'editors' have tried to find the correct version of the course in the list, but they're not showing up for any of us in Rise. The links are all still in existence in the folders in Review 360, but the connection between Rise and Review 360 seems to have broken and, like Lauren says, it's acting like we've never published to review before.

I think I was still able to publish a new version of an existing item after the snapshots update was rolled out - I have noticed this issue occurring since the end of last week, 21st/22nd November.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this as it's a major issue for us, like Lauren we have about 1,000 courses, and we need to maintain review comments within the 1 review link.

Please let me know if you also need me to record a short video.

    Thanks in advance, Lesley

  • Hi LaurenBeeson,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We're not seeing any reports of users experiencing issues with publishing Rise 360 courses to Review 360, but I'm happy to check this for you.

Would you mind making a Peek 360 recording of the reported behavior to help us with our investigation? And when you try to locate the previous version of a course when publishing, is Rise 360 no longer automatically detecting any existing courses?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

  • We are also experiencing the same issue which is a major problem for us too. Please investigate why the link between Storyline and Review has disappeared.

Hello AprilChancellor and KirstenBentley! So sorry that you're running into these issues! I see that both of you are already working in a support case with our Support Engineers. I'd recommend continuing to collaborate with your Support Engineer so they can determine next steps.
