Publishing Video file from Storyline 360
Hi All,
I am a beginner on Articulate 360 and am stuck at one point. I have created interactivities (like click and reveal) in a learning module but when I am publishing the video file the interactivities don't show up. I need to upload the video on our company LMS platform. Please let me know where I am going wrong.
Hello Ssudeshna,
Happy to help!
Videos aren't interactive, so if you plan to publish to video format, you'll need to build your Storyline 360 course with this in mind. You can’t use triggers that require learners to click, hover, drag, type, or interact with the content in any way. Interactive triggers simply won’t work when publishing a course to a video file.
If you’ve already built an interactive course and you want to publish it as a video, duplicate the project file so you have a backup copy, then adjust interactive triggers so they execute automatically when the timeline reaches a certain point, when an animation completes, or when media completes.
Feel free to share a copy of your project file here if you need help changing your triggers so they execute automatically!

Thanks JoseTansengco for taking the time and responding to my question. I have a follow-up question; these interactivities work on which platform? Is it that If I create an interactive video I need to use the Articulate platform only to play these?
Hello Ssudeshna,
I want to clarify that there isn't a way to generate an interactive video unless you publish your course in a different format, allowing you to add objects and triggers to accompany your video. Learners cannot interact with just a video in any capacity. Once you publish a Storyline 360 course to video, you can distribute the file to anyone, and anyone can watch the video as long as they have a media player installed. No Articulate 360 application is needed for these videos.
