Removing animations and timelines

I have created an animated process flow in Storyline 360, but my team wish for it to be static...how do I remove these animations and timelines.  I have highlighted all items in the process flow and set animations to 'none' but the timelines still exist and the process flow is still 'flowing'.  How do I delete/remove the timelines?

TIA

  • I'm not sure what you mean by "the timelines still exist." Do you mean that items start at different points on the timeline? In other words, do they appear at different times when you preview the slide?

If so, you can just drag them on the timeline until they all start at the beginning. If they don't stay on until the end, right click each one and select "Show Until End."

Here's more info: Storyline 360: Working with the Timeline | Articulate - Community

If that's not the problem, well, further troubleshooting is just guessing. I suggest you upload a copy of the file for troubleshooting.

Here are the best practices for doing that:
    • Only include slides that are related to the problem.
    • Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
    • If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.

Thank you Judy.  I think I was overthinking it!  Of course, just re-setting the timelines to 'start at the beginning' makes the process flow static.

      Kind regards

You're welcome. Pay it forward when you can. 😊

(And, yes, we've all had those "overthinking" moments.)
