Replay 360 frame not recording
Hi SimonKing-bdac1! Let’s try a quick fix! If you’re using multiple monitors, Replay can sometimes grab the whole desktop instead of the frame you set. Try disconnecting the extra displays and see if that helps it capture just what you want.
Curious to hear if that does the trick!

Is there an actual fix?
I can use my laptop, but the screen is significantly smaller.
Please note that in Storyline, I don't have this problem using my 2nd monitor.

Hi Jean-Christo203,
Happy to help!
At the moment, Replay 360 doesn’t fully support recording a specific application window reliably when multiple monitors are connected. What you’re seeing, where it captures the full screen instead of the selected frame, is a known limitation rather than an option that can be adjusted with a setting change. As Lauren mentioned, disconnecting additional monitors can help, but I realize that’s not ideal for long-term workflows.
Since you mentioned Storyline, one option is to use Storyline’s screen recording tool instead. This feature tends to handle multi-monitor setups more reliably.
Alternatively, some authors choose to record with another tool and then import the video into Replay or Storyline for editing.
