Reverse Rise module build from scorm
Hello everyone,
We have obtained the SCORM files for a bunch of modules built in Rise from our partners. They cannot pass ownership of the Rise modules to our Articulate account at the moment.
The modules are in English and we want to be able to translate them to a few target languages. Would there be a way to reverse engineer the scorm files, import them to Rise, etc so that we could have an editable Rise version? We may then get the xliff files and manage the translation forward.
Has anyone come across this? Appreciate any insights.

Hi,
You cannot bring a SCORM version of a course back into Rise and create an editable course.
Only the original Rise course can be edited.

That's what we thought. At the moment, the partner is not allowed to share collaborator permissions to the Rise modules...

Can the course owner email you a copy of the Course?

We will ask again. Thanks Karl!

Hi - was there a way you managed to do this?

You can do that by using a solution like www.12lingo.com
Here you import the SCORM file and can edit the original text content before doing AI translation.
All translations and proof reading is handled directly in the browser before you download a new SCORM for each language.
