RISE API?

Are there any plans in the near future to expose some methods to develops via and API? For example, topic completion, block completion etc?

It would be a really cool addition and enable developers to build plugins for the software and extend its capability.

Would be keen to hear if this has been a discussion at all amongst the engineers and management.

Thanks.

At the moment, there hasn’t been any official announcement about a public RISE API for features like topic or block completion. However, it’s definitely something many developers would find valuable, especially for building plugins and extending functionality. It’s likely the idea has been discussed internally, but for now there’s no confirmed timeline or roadmap publicly available.

lpep this gave me an idea. I've started using 'tokens' to get advanced features in my Rise courses and this is likely possible with an api, but first here's how I did it to load content from my Wordpress site into my Rise course. I just leave a token in my text like ++about-page++ and the javascript does the rest.

I'm not an api guy but if someone knows how to hook this up to claude and an external database I'd love to develop this further. btw kim533 is a bot.

      Hi ChrisWilliams-f,

Thanks for checking in. There isn’t an update to share right now on an API connection for Rise 360. I’ve passed your request along to our product team so they’re aware of your interest in accessing course data for integrations or automation.

Rise 360 doesn’t currently include an API, but your feedback helps us understand how this kind of functionality could support development workflows in the future.

My company is interested in this as well. Any new updates given the current AI climate?

  • Yes, that would be cool. And a mechanism to include and trigger custom Javascripts ...

That would be cool, but I doubt it. Welcome to closed-source software.
