You could try covering the numbers by adding a shape that matches the slide background.

Hi this doesnt work wene you make alink with html5.

  • Hi Limor,

That numbering is built into the sequence drag and drop so that it's easy for the learner to see how they're ordered and where to drop the items.

If you'd like to see some changes to that setup, we'd love to hear more about it! I’ll be happy to pass your thoughts on to our product team if you can share more here, but you can also feel free to detail them more through a feature request!

      HI Ashley,
as you can see even if you hide it at html5 you can still see the latter '
since in my country we write from right to left it is aproblem to see the
number from left and in this slide we cant use english letter since we are
      write in hebrow.
      thanks

  • Thanks for clarifying that, Limor, and we're seeing the same thing.

In HTML5, the numbers appear incorrectly on the left. Fortunately, the Flash output correctly displays the numbers on the right. This happens in Storyline 360 and Storyline 3. Which version are you using?

We're reported this to our team so we can begin looking at next steps. Thanks so much for bringing this up to us, and I'm really sorry if it's slowing you down!

  • Thanks for confirming that, Limor. We'll let you know if this gets fixed in a future update.

  • Does anyone know how to change the font color of the numbers? I am using a black background, therefore, there is little contrast between the numbers and the background.

  • Hi Rachel!

Unfortunately, that isn't a feature in Storyline. I've added your comments to the feature request. If we hear of any updates, we'll report back to this discussion.

Is there any update on this? I have 12 items that need to be put in a sequence. Since only 10 will fit on a slide, I've divided them into 2 halves. But the second half shows the numbers 1 - 6 for items 7 - 12. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi Greg,

I'm sorry you're having an issue with number sequences! Would you be willing to share your project files here or reach out to our Support Engineers privately in a support case?

    Thanks for reaching out!
