Setting a text box equal to the typed value of a new text box
I've built an interaction with 3 parts.
- The first interaction on slide 1 requires the learner to enter freeform answers in 8 different text entry boxes. No right or wrong answers.
- The second interaction on slide 2 pulls the answers from slide 1 back up in new text entry boxes. The learner then needs to categorize their answers by dragging them into two different drop boxes based 2 different categories(category 1 and category 2). No right or wrong answer.
- The third interaction on slide 3 is the one I cannot figure out. I want only the answers the learner dropped into category 1 from slide 2 to pop back up in new text entry boxes. How can I program the interaction to only show the text boxes that were dragged to category 1? Originally I thought about creating states, but storyline doesn't allow us to change the state of a text entry box.
Help!

See the attached file. Look at the variables and triggers to see how it works. I do not like the way the items appear on slide 3, but cannot figure out how to have them group.
