Show slider on multiple slides besides using slide master?
Hi,
I am creating a scenario-based eLearning in Storyline and want to feature a mood meter that changes on a scale from happy to sad, based on how the scenarios are answered and carries over from scenario to scenario. I thought I could use a slider to achieve this, however, I want the meter to show on multiple slides. I don't want to place it on the slide master because I am using background videos that will cover it up. When I tried to copy and paste the slider, it just gave me an additional slider with an additional variable. Is there any way to have the same slider showcased throughout different slides? Or another way of doing this besides using a slider?
Thanks in advance!
Yes, the program creates a new slider variable when you add, copy and paste, or duplicate a slider. However, you can tell all the sliders to use the same variable. Just put the same name in the "Variable" field in the SLIDER TOOLS>DESIGN ribbon. After you do that, I also suggest you delete the other Slider# variables to avoid confusion.
