Storyline -Multiple hotspots throughout video

I have inserted a video into Storyline and made multiple hotspots throughout the video all with triggers:

- Pause timeline when timeline reaches cue point

- Resume timeline when user clicks hotspot 

It works just fine for what I want (the user to click the right spot to move the video along), but the hotspot shows the entire video in the creation of the project, even though I only have it on the timeline for about .25 seconds.

Is there any way to only have the hotspot show up on the project screen during the time you want it to be active?
