Storyline 360 - Text to speech

I have used this product for a couple of courses that I created from power points.  I have a dozen or more course to complete.  All are generated by pulling in a power point with notes already created.  I know how to go into each slide and insert audio by using the text to speech functionality.  My question is - can a person insert "text to speech" for all the slides (80 -100 slides in total) at one time versus clicking through each slide to insert the audio?

this has been requested numerous times over the years and they have not created this functionality for some reason. It would be a productivity game changer.

I came here to point out a change that was made with the new update - when you go to add text generated voiceover, it now automatically populates the text field with the title of the slide, so you have to manually DELETE the slide title to see the option to add the voiceover text from notes. 🙄 yet another loss of productivity

      Hello rmogollon

Appreciate you sharing your voice with us. I've shared your insight with our team.

wasn’t able to reproduce the behavior on my end, so I’d love to learn a bit more about what you’re seeing.

      • When you open the text-to-speech editor, is the slide title already populated in the text field?
      • Does this happen on every slide or just some?

We'd be happy to take a closer look at a screen recording of this behavior and the .story file in a support case

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for sharing your workflow with us! I can confirm that it is not possible to insert Text to Speech audio for over 80 slides at once in Storyline 360. Here's a closer look at the current Text to Speech functionality in Storyline
