Synching a series of images to audio when the audio file is clicked

Hi community,

I was wondering if someone could help me with something I'm trying to accomplish.

I have a slide that has a speaker icon indicating that there is audio associated. The audio only starts when the icon is clicked.

I wanted to show a series of images synched with the audio, but only when the icon is clicked and the audio starts to play (basically synching the images with the start of the audio). I'm also concerned about the images staying synched with the audio upon revisiting, as I have experienced issues with the "reset to initial state" when revisiting setting in the past.

Does anyone have recommendations on how to achieve this? I've searched the forum and google, but the wording of what I'm trying to achieve is not coming back with relevant results.

Thanks!

You could try adding the audio and synched images to a layer. Clicking the icon would show the layer which has its own timeline; that way the images would always be in synch with the audio.

Thanks Michael! I thought about that, but I guess i was being lazy as the slide has so many existing layers as is. I guess one more layer can't hurt!

    Thanks again!
