System fonts

I work for a major government agency in Aotearoa/New Zealand who has adopted the MS System Font Aptos as their default font.

Unfortunately it will not show up in Storyline or RISE. Is anyone else having similar issues.

As Aptos is Microsoft's new default font, I think this will become a big problem over time. Does anyone know how I can fix the issue or has a work a round?

Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

Colin

    These are two options:

    1. Articulate adds Aptos to the system as a selectable font for all Rise courses.
    2. You purchase the Aptos font and upload it as a custom font to your course.

Has Articulate added Aptos to the system as a selectable font for all Articulate options (like Articulate Presenter and Storyline) ? I'm running into glitches with existing courses that used Calibri and now I'm updating to Aptos.  I have words overlapping, extra spaces between words and the only work around I've found it to completely re-word sentences to see if the new text I use is affected. Help!

        Hi JodiHill-c5a35a!

        Happy to jump in here!

I can confirm Aptos is not a default font within Storyline 360 or Presenter 360, and would need to be downloaded first. For your reference, this article outlines the fonts that get installed with Storyline 360 and Studio 360.

Also, you mentioned running into issues when updating fonts in your projects. Were you making the changes within PowerPoint (Presenter 360), then importing the content to Storyline? If you're comfortable sharing the affected project files, it would help us troubleshoot this behavior better. Feel free to upload those items here in the discussion or privately through a support case.

Thank you! Looking forward to hearing from you!
