Time active on SCORM module

I'm using Articulate 360 to create SCORM 2004 modules which present content, and have a Complete button to pass the course. But I'm finding some learners whip through the content at such a pace they couldn't possibly be absorbing it - while others spend up to 18 hours (which I'm pretty sure involves leaving the computer on with the module midway and going to bed for the night). Is there something in the SCORM report generated that will let me know how many seconds/minutes were actually spent in moving through the content? I've attached one such SCORM report here, for reference. Thanks so much for your help!

  • Hello Dawn,

I'm happy to help! Thank you for sharing the SCORM report.

I can confirm that the learner in this report spent more than 18 hours finishing the course, as shown in the conversion below. The "Total time spent in seconds" field returns this data.

Did you use Storyline or Rise 360 to create your course? If you used Storyline, one solution to prevent learners from spending too much time is to add a timer for your Storyline quiz. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.
