Timeline with red x
I am using Stoylie 360 V3.106.35838.0, which I reloaded again to try to remedy this situation. For no particular reason, this will appear in the timeline, and I have to restart the program to get it to go away.
I will also randomly get the "Sorry, Articulate may need to close" box.
This is happening on every story that I am working on. I am using a local disc.
I do have Localization, although I am not using it when these issues appear.
Thanks for any direction for correcting this.

Hello BarryHollembeak, have you tried uninstalling Storyline and then reinstalling it? Is this problem related to a particular module? Does the problem occur even on a blank Storyline?

This problem appears whether it is a new module or a reloaded one for edits. It occurs so randomly that I cannot pinpoint a specific task that triggers it. Yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled it.

BarryHollembeak : That is what's politely called "unexpected behavior."
It sounds like you took the usual steps the staff recommends: working locally and reinstalling.
At this point, I suggest submit a case directly to the Articulate staff. You can do that here: https://access.articulate.com/support/contact

Yeah, I have a different phrase for it, but best not state it here. I will submit the case. Thanks.
Hi BarryHollembeak!
Glad to see the community has been helping you!
Smart move on opening a support case. I see that my colleague Genelyn is handling your case and just replied to your e-mail.
We can continue the conversation there to keep all information in one place.
