Version Control and Archiving RISE modules
Hi Team
I'm looking for some advice on how to manage all of my Rise modules.
I have been developing in Rise for several years now and have over 200 courses with many versions. We've recently stopped adding the year to the course title which is making it hard to now track my versions and "archived" courses.
Dos anyone have any suggestions for our to manage this?
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Save and restore your work with a click via an easy-to-access version list that captures manual saves and export events.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available. Let me know if you have any questions about this update.
Hi Rachael! Thanks for sharing your need for version control and your use case. We're still tracking requests for this feature and I've logged your details as a vote for the feature! If we make any changes that help, we'll let you know!

Hi Rachel,
You can use an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of courses and versions.
You can also include the link to the course in Rise used for editing.

Hi - Adding a +1 to this feature request. Can you share if any updates have been made?

Hi Articulate,
Any news on that feature? The absence of a versioning function leads to significant disorganization, particularly when numerous users are generating and modifying the content. Having this feature is essential for us, so I'm curious to find out when you intend to release the function to manage versions.
Thanks. Hi Shirly, and thanks for reaching out!
I appreciate you taking the time to share what you’d like to see in Rise 360. Currently, I don't have any news on this request, but we’ll be sure to update this discussion if it makes it on our feature roadmap. If you run into any trouble in the meantime, please let us know and we'll be happy to help!
