TalentLMS double navigation with Rise course?
Hi there,
we have some Rise courses we'd like to run in TalentLMS.
We'd like to embed them rather than make them run in a pop-up, but then we have both the TalentLMS course navigation as well as the Rise course navigation as shown in the screenshot. It would solve most of our problems if we could just hide the TalentLMS navigation, but that doesn't seem to be possible.
How are you all handling that? Are we really stuck with these three options?:
- Embed the Rise course and live with the double navigation (yuck)
- Turn off the Rise navigation pane (not a viable option)
- Rise course in pop-up (not a fan of that user experience)
The screenshot only shows a test. Differences to the real courses:
- The real courses absolutely need the Rise navigation
- There would be only one TalentLMS course page, namely the one with the SCORM, so the TalentLMS course navigation would be useless
The reason I'm asking here is that I'm tired of waiting for the TalentLMS support to get back to me and I'm frankly surprised I can find no discussion on this. Surely, I'm not the first person dealing with this?

Hi LSP I'm sorry that you've run into this issue! I haven't used TalentLMS, but I see that LauraLawson and elliekurth28 both have experience with that LMS. Have either of you seen this issue before?

Hello,
I am currently using a competing LMS (Cornerstone On Demand) which has also started embedding e-learning modules. This has resulted for eg in having two exit buttons: one within my module and another within the LMS itself. Additionally, my module only utilizes a small part of the available space, with the remaining area being occupied by the LMS interface. This configuration greatly diminishes the user experience. It appears to be a widespread trend among LMS platforms.
