Thank you all for trying out AI Tutor in Labs and for sharing such thoughtful feedback along the way. We’re excited to let you know that this experiment has evolved and has now moved into public beta.
As part of this transition, AI Tutor will be removed from Labs while we continue to build on what we’ve learned and expand the experience more broadly.
Your input has played a key role in shaping what comes next, and we’re looking forward to continuing to improve AI Tutor as more customers begin using it.
Thanks again for being part of the journey!
Thank you for this feedback!
The error you saw was related to an authentication issue that we’ve since fixed. Please re-publish your course to Quick Share and try again. After republishing, the AI Tutor should work as expected.
Regarding your second point: AI Tutor is designed to rely only on the content included in the course itself and doesn’t pull from external sources or the broader web. That said, we’re aware that it can sometimes drift into more general topics depending on how a learner prompts it. Improving how tightly the tutor stays grounded in the course context is something we’re actively working on.
Thank you kindly for helping us test things out in Rise Labs! 😁
Another idea: is there a way to limit the AI tutor when the user is responding to test, quiz, or assessment questions?

Yes! Your thought is right on target. AI Tutor is designed to support learning without giving away answers to quizzes or knowledge checks. It aims to guide learners toward understanding rather than bypassing assessments, so they shouldn’t be able to extract direct answers during those moments.

Will this feature be available in Articulate Storyline 360 too?

Hi Michaelmicha298,
Thanks for letting us know you'd like to see AI Tutor in Storyline.
I've shared your feedback with our development team so they can consider this feature for future updates!

Is there a way to hide the AI Tutor for certain lessons? If I only wanted it to appear in the last lesson, that way a learner can ask all of their questions to get a comprehensive understanding of the learning before completion.

That’s a thoughtful use case – thank you for sharing it!
Currently AI Tutor is enabled at the course level, so it isn’t yet possible to limit or show it only in specific lessons within a course. However, we can definitely see the value in making it available at key moments – like a final lesson for reflection or wrap-up. We’ll keep this in mind as we continue to evolve the feature.
Appreciate you sharing the idea!
