Copy image from website into Storyline

I want to copy an image from a website into Storyline. I right click on an image in the Chrome web browser and select 'Copy image', goto Storyline and either paste (Ctrl+V) or right click > Paste (P). Neither works.

I sometimes get a blank placeholder (red text, red cross) saying 'The image can't be displayed.'

Can this be fixed?

    I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble pasting images into Storyline.

    You might occasionally run into this warning when copying images from a web browser. This usually happens when the image format isn’t something Storyline can accept directly from the clipboard. It can vary depending on how the image is being served on the website, such as when it’s a background or embedded differently.

    I recommend saving the image first to avoid this issue:

    1. Right-click the image in your browser and choose “Save image as…” to download it.
    2. In Storyline, go to the Insert tab, click Picture > Picture from File, then select the image you just saved.
