RISE Course Settings
We create a lot of different courses for different departments. When I change a setting in one course it changes in ALL the courses I have created. For example, if I change the main start button for the RISE course from "Start" to "Begin" or I change the "Begin quiz" language to "Acknowledgement" for a few courses, it changes in ALL my courses. Is there a way to keep each course settings individual and not a group setting? Thank you.

Hi csensing,
Thanks for reaching out! What you’re seeing is expected behavior when multiple courses are using the same label set.
Text like the Start button, Begin quiz, and similar interface wording comes from label sets. If several courses share the same label set, changing it in one course will update it everywhere that label set is used.
If you want each course to have its own wording, the key is to make sure each course is using a unique label set rather than a shared one. Once a course has its own label set, changes will only apply to that course.
That said, it’s completely understandable to expect course settings to be isolated by default, especially when you’re building courses for different departments. I’ve shared your feedback with our product team as a feature request to make this behavior clearer and give authors more control over per-course settings.
