Hello from Aggieland
I am new to learning design and am looking to connect with others that are in higher education. I am specifically focused on training and career development of finance and business services staff members. Looking to see if there are others working on the same types of courses.

The Training & Tutorials section is a great place to explore as you get familiar with the tools. If you enjoy learning through prompts and hands-on practice, I also highly recommend our weekly eLearning Challenges.
We also have a Peer Pod starting in August that you might enjoy. It's focused on getting started in an instructional design role and is a great way to connect with others who are new to the field.
Lastly, I'm tagging maryamsharif, who joined the community a few months ago and coordinates training initiatives that support employee development. There may be some overlap in the work you both do, so I thought I'd introduce you. Hopefully you'll have a chance to connect and learn from each other.

When I joined the community, one of the ways I learned about other community members was to view their profiles. There, you get a sense of people's focus. I typically started with those names that were active in the community, posting, commenting, etc.
