Hello from Detroit, MI!

I'm an instructional systems designer, always looking to learn how to use different eLearning tools.

  • Welcome, sweertzโ€‹! I grew up in the metro Detroit area and spend a lot of time there ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ (I have to know - are you a U of M or MSU fan?)

I'd love to know more about what types of things you'd love to learn more about when it comes to Articulate or e-learning/L&D!

LOL. I am a native Detroiter with a BA and MEd from Wayne State University! My parents met while attending U of M. I have siblings who went to both U of M and MSU (plus my Uncle George was mayor of East Lansing), so we cheer for both. :)

As a freelance program/project manager, I'm attempting to learn Articulate to show prospective businesses how eLearning can up their game. I'm practicing with some documents for the League of Women Voters of Michigan. I am their project manager for their Board of Canvassers Observation Program, which runs for every state and federal election.

Do you have any pull with Articulate? I started my 30-day free trial in mid-April. While they have a great series of online learning, the live Storyline 360 quick start tutorial didn't run until last week. I'm wondering if there's a way to extend the trial. If this platform works well for me, I will purchase it for my work (since I don't have an employer to purchase for me).

      Thank you, KellOrding!

Ah I love the connection to both U of M and MSU! ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿ’š

That's really cool what you're working on! I'll likely be leading an upcoming program that will be an Introduction to E-Learning cohort. If that's something you might be interested in, I can share some more information with you about it!

Thanks for raising this question and asking for additional time to check out Articulate 360! I'm going to reach out to our Sales team to see what we can do, and I'll follow up with you.
