Forum Discussion
Hello heroes
Thanks DavidAnderson I've been browsing the forums quite a bit. From Captivate to SL has been a fairly easy transition and a relief. I would love to gather community input, is there a recommended best practice for learning from the community in the forums when a project is confidential? I'm guessing I would have to duplicate the project down to the bare bones of the slide to remain compliant.
Hi ISDatMGB It sounds like you're off to a great start and doing the right things to learn SL.
If you can’t share the original content, you can sanitize it by removing confidential information and replacing it with placeholders. You don’t need to share your source files from Captivate; a screenshot or a published example works as well.
Alternatively, skip the Captivate part and post your Storyline source file with the request: “Can you review my Storyline project file?” You can use lorem ipsum or random text for placeholders. The goal is just to see how you’ve set up your triggers, layers, and states so we can confirm you’re working as efficiently as possible.
