I'm Dereck. I'm new to the L & D world after a long career in the world of public education. Looking forward to learning from all of you!

Thrilled to have you here, Dereck! I actually started off my career in public education, too :) I was a high school choir teacher before I got into tech. What did you teach?
I was an ESL teacher. I worked with students in every grade level, but most recently co-taught in high school algebra and geometry classes.
Love it! Does that connect at all to the L&D work you're doing now (from a subject matter perspective)?
