Michelle in Florida
Hello, CatRushton - I was with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for 26 years prior to my current position. At FDLE I worked in the Criminal Justice Information Services division and created online training modules for the state's CJIS certification program and other modules related to that information. I retired from FDLE and started working at the International Justice and Public Safety Network (Nlets) four years ago. I create training modules on the 56 transaction keys we have to provide detailed information to the end user on the use of the information, as well as in house, strategic partner, and other trainings pertinent to Nlets.
Cool! I taught Comparative Sciences (fingerprints, firearms, QD) and Forensic Microscopy (polarized light and scanning electron for trace evidence). Some of my grads work for FDLE. And one grad is at CJIS in WV. Small world.
