If you'd like some instructional design specific tools, you can't go wrong with the course design training. For more Articulate tool learning, check out the user guides and on-boarding sections for Rise and Storyline.
From there I'd recommend connecting with other new users. The tag "newbie" is a great way to find them, and checking the welcome center for others introducing themselves (like LucyvanDyk , who is re-learning Articulate).
