WorkWithAI - Intro

Hi Im Paul based in London UK.

I work as a Driver Training Manager in the rail industry with a focus on operational training, QA and non technical skills. Most of my experience is in face to face practical training rather than digital.

I'm currently starting to explore digital learning design tools like Articulate Rise and looking to understand how this can be applied in real world safety critical environments.

Happy to share experience around train in g delivery, assessment and QA and keen to learn more about building effective digital learning.

  • Hi Paul! Rail Industry is a rare thing here in the US, I'd love to hear how you got into it (though I know it's a bigger industry in the UK).

It sounds like you'd find our Rise tutorials helpful, some of the builds by SyedAmjad-Ali and BrilliantTeams!

I can't wait to see what you create, share, and learn.

Hi MaryEmma_Gary, Thanks for your reply. Yes rail is quite a big deal for passenger journeys in the UK although I believe US has many more miles of infrastructure and is used in a much bigger way for freight than the UK. I kind of accidentally got into it. long story... Ive already created my first lesson on articulate so excited to create more and expand on what I've done.

Thanks for the tips on tutorial and builds

    Paul, welcome to ELH!

    What an interesting work experience.

I live in South Florida, U.S., and we have a newly minted passenger rail system (Brightline). I can now travel to the middle of the state without the headache of car travel. My family and friends love it!

I look forward to hearing more about your Rise skill-building.

Be sure to check out the ELH challenges (if you haven't already); it's a wonderful vehicle to build skills and try new things in the Articulate suite.
