This is very nice, however, it probably isn't complete enough. Assets aren't taken into account. Although it isn't always necessary what I tend to find in medium to large scale projects is that if you don't nail down your assets early on you're going to be in considerable trouble. Interactions, triggers, and states are also missing. Which ones you might use, etc. Also no slide numbers - I would assume the number is implied, but I would think a Slide # would be fairly basic. Also no mention of the objectives and how these tasks will fulfill those objectives - no place for those in the template. It's beautiful but I'm not sure how functional. I think the other parts of this set are much more functional.
Good points, Kevin! You can definitely add those items in and customize this storyboard as needed. This isn't a one-size-fits-all type of storyboard...more of a general one I used on some projects that needed to stay focused on content. Other times, I used it as a base and added other items depending on the project, my resources, and how many people were involved. I also personally like to create a prototype for the design elements, so I tend not to include those details here. But I think it's always best to do what works for you and your team so communication is clear. So, thanks for sharing what other items you would add to it. It's always helpful to get more ideas.
Thanks for sharing. I use the format in PowerPoint as I find the ability to add notes directly into the notes pane of PowerPoint to be extremely useful. It also allows people to add images onto the slide easily as it accommodates media better that Microsoft word does in my opinion.
This is nice Sarah. I tried to add "Layer" to the type of slide but could not. Can you allow me to peek behind the curtain to find out how I can add this to the dropdown.
Thanks, Gwen! To add more slide-type options, click on the Select slide type box>click the Developer tab>click Properties>click Add>type Layer in the fields>click OK.
