When to Use "Save Translation As" in Storyline
In most cases, Storyline’s language trigger condition is all you need to tailor visual elements for different languages. It keeps everything in one project file, which makes updates and management easy.
But when you need major layout changes or a totally different design for a specific language, the “Save Translation As” feature is a better option.
It lets you export a language as its own project, so you can redesign freely, swap media, or customize the layout structure rather than rebuilding the custom layouts in the source project.
