Can Engage 2013 embed into Storyline to publish to HTML5?

Not at the moment, but an update in the future will allow this

Hi Nick! I hope you are not trying to import Engage into Storyline just because you want to publish to HTML5?! Engage '13 will now allow you to do this. Phil is right though, if you are trying to import Engage '13 into Storyline  it will not work at this time. Just wanted to make sure we didn't miss anything here

You are correct, we want to import it into Storyline. The client really wants the carousel interaction, but Storyline doesn't have anything like this available.

That is, unless there is another way to do this.

Theoretically, a Storyline web object viewed from the iPad in HTML5 should play an Engage 2013 interaction, correct?

Hi Nick! I'm not supporting any theories here, but I understand why you would think that. Storyline is going to give you a compatibility error and until we release an update, you will not be able to import your Studio '13 content.

Is it safe to say an update will be coming soon? Or will an update for iOS7 sizing issues come out first with an update to SL for Studio '13 at a later time? I know the iOS7 problem must be top priority internally - just curious about the decision-making process as to when everything will come out.

I'm not sure of any timelines related to either, but I do know that they are both a top priority. Different teams as well, so both working diligently to provide an update.
