Is it possible to insert an Engage Tabs presentation into the media of an Engage Flipbook? I've published the Tabs presentation but when I try to insert the presentation into one of the pages in the Flipbook presentation, it appears blank.
Out of the box, it's not possible to embed Engage interactions within one another. However, here's a workaround that might get you pointed in the right direction:
How can I reduce the size of the Engage presentation so when I publish it would be smaller than the default size?
Oscar
Oscar you can insert an engage as a swf https://player.vimeo.com/video/148900990, you can then resize it, I would be careful though as articulate does not really like you changing the size of swfs and sometimes will display them incorrectly
Although the information was very valuable is not what I was asking:
When the interaction gets published is has a default size; can I adjust the size from the code without causing any damage to the file? Or, there is another way to reduce the size before publishing the file?
Oscar if you are inserting the engage into presenter this is the only way, if not and you are publishing the engage outside presenter you can edit the html file, you need to change the size in two places and set noscale to scale
If you import an Engage interaction and publish for Web, you should be seeing it in the published output, as long as you're viewing the content with a browser that supports Flash. (Imported interactions are displayed as Flash content in your course.) If you're viewing the HTML5 output, or if you're attempting to view the output in the Articulate Mobile Player, the interaction won't appear because those formats don't support Flash. Maybe that's what's causing the Engage interaction to appear blank? If that's not the case, you're welcome to upload your project files to our support team so they can take a look and help troubleshoot.

Can I do the same for QuizMaker? To come up inside an Engage Presentation?
Oscar
Oscar, I think Daves blog above has got a way of doing this, think you can only use one quiz though
Hey Oscar! Phil's right, here's a blog post that should help: http://daveperso.mediaenglishonline.com/2008/12/16/how-to-add-quizmaker-09-to-engage-09/

Can you guide or show me where those two changes will need to be?
Oscar
Sorry Oscar, if you open the engage.html file in dreamweaver or another program that makes it easy to edit e.g. Notepad+
Approx line 29-30
var g_nWidth = "720"; // 720 | 100%
var g_nHeight = "540"; // 540 | 100%
var g_strScale = "noscale"; // noscale | show all // Change to scale
and lines 56-57 (approx
g_nWidth = "720";
g_nHeight = "540";
You need to change both heights and widths and set to scale, try and main tain the aspect ration
Hope this helps
Phil

Is there a way to make a flipbook interaction in storyline. Where you click the page to see the next page just like the engage interaction.
Please let me know as soon as you can.
Thanks,
Stephen Thomas
Hey Stephen, here's a recent discussion that contains an idea for a flipbook interaction built in Storyline. Does that help?
