A bad thing happened a few months ago...my computer crashed and I lost a bunch of videos and quite a lot of Articulate work. Some had been used in one of my published modules so they are saved there. Is there a way to extract them so that I can reuse them?
Ouch, so sorry to hear about the crash. Those are never fun!
Quick thought, how about recording them in a new course? I'm not sure if you're able to view the published content from your courses, but if so, you could make a screen recording of the videos in those courses and insert them into a new project.
Not sure if that would work for you, but may be an option you could try :)
Excellent idea and I'll definitely give that a try if I cannot extract an mp4 or flv from the published module. I take it from your response that such an extraction is probably not possible?
Not that I've been able to find, unfortunately. I know that some community members have been able to find ways to salvage some content from published courses, but I personally haven't done this.
Good luck! Hopefully you'll be able to record them, or someone that's run into this issue can give some advice on pulling out those original videos in another fashion.

Thanks Eric :)
You should be able to look in the content folder and extract the video
