Need some expert advice on an audio issue
Nov 27, 2013
I have a course with a mix of slides with narration, and engage interactions with audio. For most people (including myself), everything works and sounds fine. However, I have an issue with every person at a corporate client of mine. They can hear just fine for regular slides, except for the engage interactions will have no audio. I can login as them from a different computer, and it works fine.
This leads me to believe it is possibly a flash issue, or possibly browser issue, but I can't seem to diagnose it. Has anyone ever experienced this issue, and if so how was it resolved?

Hi Chuck,
Can you share a bit more about what browser or flash version they're using on the computer that is causing them problems?
It is across the board as far as browsers, and it only happens to users from 1 client. I am wondering if their admins have not allowed flash to update, or if it is restricted in some way that is causing this.
Hi Chuck,
Certainly sounds like that may be a possibility. If you can, I would recommend communicating with them to find out what browsers (and versions) they're using, along with the Flash version they have installed.
It may also help to ask if they have any restrictions for browsing. I know a lot of companies use some pretty heavy firewalls and other options to make sure their employees don't stray too far from work content.
Good luck!
Let us know how it goes :)
